First specimen of Horned Puffin (Fratercula corniculata) in Mexico
The last scientific publication from 2019 Coastal Solutions Fellow Jonathan Vargas on an interesting finding of Horned Puffin remains in Baja California, Mexico and the second specimen found so far south on the continent. Published on Western Field Ornithologists.
Ethnobiology and climate change in marine wetlands of southern Chile
Coastal Solutions Fellow 2023, Daniela Ruz, was recently published in a study looking to identify key indicators for climate change in Coihuín and Maullín wetlands, both key sites for migratory shorebird conservation. Published by Letras Verdes, Latinamerican Journal of Socioenvironmental Studies.
